ABOUT ME
Since graduating from high school in 2012, I left my small hometown in Eastern Washington to pursue higher education, a goal that allowed me the opportunity to spend time living in Southern California, London, and now Atlanta. A long-standing interest in the biological sciences, especially as they pertain to medicine and pharmaceuticals, has prompted me to expand my knowledge by undertaking rigourous coursework and laboratory projects related to such topics. My background in neuroscience and previous research experience in proteomics have allowed me to develop a broad perspective of biological and chemical concepts as they pertain to the human body. Over the course of the next year and a half, as I work towards the completion of my master's degree, I will be focusing on gaining a deep understanding of the current landscape of bioinformatics while developing the computer programming skills necessary to enter into the industry.
